Definitions - Direct Grievances and Group Grievances. Any grievances arising directly between the Board and the Association, or any grievance involving more than one Teacher, instead of following the procedure herein set out, may be submitted in writing by registered mail or personal delivery within twenty (20) working days after either party becomes aware of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint. The grievance committee shall agree to meet without delay in an attempt to settle the grievance. If this committee is unable to settle such grievance within ten (10) working days after its submission, then the group to whom the grievance was delivered shall reply in writing within five (5) working days.
