Department/Division Charters. The Department/Division Charter is a document developed by each College’s Residential Faculty, in consultation with its Adjunct Faculty, for each of the College’s departments and/or divisions. The Charter is a tool available to assist in the design and development of innovative strategies in process and conflict resolution at the most local level. The Department/Division Charters will align with the College Plan.

Department/Division Charters. The Department/Division Faculty shall create a charter which describes operational processes including, but not limited to, the process of identification and selection of Departmental/Divisional leadership roles, process for elements of shared academic freedom (textbooks, common assignments, common assessments, required Canvas elements, etc.), course assignments, meeting schedule, Adjunct Faculty rights and support, and expectations of faculty within the Department/Division. Consultation with the Xxxx and/or VPAA is highly encouraged. Department/Division Charters are made publicly available online by the Faculty Senate and are included in an Appendix to the College Plan. Every Charter will include the process for assignment of Adjunct Faculty members. After having been assigned for an initial term, an Adjunct Faculty member who is subsequently notified of non- assignment may request of their Faculty Chair or faculty supervisor the reasons that contributed to the decision. Upon the Adjunct Faculty member’s written request, the reasons will be confirmed in writing by the Faculty Chair or faculty supervisor.

  • Public Utilities The LESSEE shall pay for its telephone, electric, cable TV, water, Internet, association dues and other public services and utilities during the duration of the lease.

  • Department Review The parties shall resolve disputes through written submission of their dispute to the Department’s Contract Manager. The Department shall respond to the dispute in writing within ten (10) Business Days from the date that the Department’s Contract Manager receives the dispute. The Department’s decision shall be final unless a party provides the other party with written notice of the party’s disagreement with the decision within ten (10) Business Days from the date of the Department’s decision.   • Grievance Commissioner System This is to confirm the discussion of the parties during collective bargaining that they are committed to encouraging early discussion and resolution of labour relations issues at the local level and seek to resolve grievances in a timely and cost efficient manner. To that end, this is to confirm that pursuant to Article 8, the parties agree that the Employer and Union at individual nursing homes may agree to utilize the following process in order to resolve a particular grievance through the utilization of a joint mediation-arbitration procedure:

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.
