Descriptions of Activities. A variety of small in-person cohorts are needed to provide students with urgent needs for whom Distance Learning does not work well. Small cohorts will not exceed 16 individuals total (staff and students) in size and will be created to meet the needs of students. As a result, a variety of staff may be involved in the implementation of small cohorts and may be conducted by CSEA-represented employees consistent with their job and duty descriptions and as necessary.
Descriptions of Activities. In addition to the existing K-8 Home School and 9-12 Independent Study (blended, supervisory, and hybrid) programs, DJUSD has implemented a Virtual Academy through the Xxxxx School for Independent Study (DSIS) to meet the growing needs of our community to serve students in a primarily virtual environment. DTA and DJUSD agree that this program is an important component of the District’s programming following the pandemic. The parties understand that as the program develops and evolves additional negotiations may be required.
Descriptions of Activities. As mentioned above, under the 2nd Partnership DU is to provide facilities for up-gradation of knowledge and training at different levels in identified disciplines to a specified number of faculty members associated with various Universities/Institutions in Afghanistan. Achieving the purposes of the Partnership depends to a greater extent on a number of factors such as pace of decision making at various levels, appropriate interactions amongst the stake holders, medium of instructions, resource mobilization and creation of a viable environment for teaching and research in a set time frame. However, it is imperative that the utmost effort be made by the parties of the partnership.
Descriptions of Activities. A variety of one-on-one in-person services and activities are required to fulfill Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and will involve different staff. Some of these activities and services can only be provided in-person, due to the type of activity and/or the student’s needs. Service providers will confer with their supervisor to determine which students will be offered in-person services. For example, a speech language pathologist may provide one-on-one in-person speech services for students unable to access Distance Learning and other special education in-person services will be conducted by other DTA-represented employees consistent with their job and duty descriptions and as necessary.
Descriptions of Activities. Sen will play a key role in preventing further spread of COVID-19 by contacting newly diagnosed students and staff and obtaining information regarding demographics, symptoms and onset, and other information related to disease transmission. In this position, Xxx will ensure that staff and students follow prescribed protocols for data collection, communication, and confidentiality. This position requires an advanced degree of knowledge of COVID-19 guidelines, computer and written communication skills inclusive of use of google documents and running reports in Q, and professional judgment. ● Provides information regarding self-isolation, daily symptom monitoring, and access to testing; connects individuals to community resources and up-to-date public health information regarding disease control and prevention. ● Makes follow-up calls as needed, as well as calls to clear individuals to return to work/school. ● Monitors unvaccinated staff compliance with California required weekly testing. ● Attends meetings with DJUSD Student Support Services Department and Yolo County Department of Public Health to stay current with health and safety guidelines. ● Submits confidential information to Yolo County Department of Public Health according to reporting guidelines set forth by the state and the county. ● Maintains accurate records of COVID-19 cases and relays information to designated site and district personnel. ● Prepares and distributes communication to the DJUSD community regarding exposure to COVID-19 with minimum direction. ● May update designated website(s) with various school and/or District information. ● Communicates with students, staff, parents and the public using tact, diplomacy and courtesy in sometimes confrontational or stressful situations. ● Actively listens to individuals and addresses concerns regarding health and safety with empathy and sensitivity; communicates effectively with individuals across varying backgrounds and cultures.
