Disability Leave of Absence. 26.2.1 25.2.1 When disabled, a member will an eligible employee may be placed on an unpaid leave of absence of up not to exceed three (3) months if (1) employee either he or his attending physician requests a leave,same or, (2) his attendance or performance becomes unsatisfactory because of the disability. This initial twelve (12) week period will be processed as Family Medical Leave if the disability is covered by the Family Medical Leave Act.
