Common use of Dismissal and Suspension Grievance Clause in Contracts

Dismissal and Suspension Grievance. Where the grievance involves an Employee who has been dismissed or suspended, the grievance shall be received within ten (10) working days of the Employee first becoming aware of the dismissal or suspension to Step Two of the grievance procedure. Upon receipt of the grievance notification, the parties may mutually agree to refer a dismissal and suspension grievance directly to Step Three of the grievance procedure.
