Common use of District Notification Clause in Contracts

District Notification. The DISTRICT shall give prompt written notice to the ARCHITECT if the DISTRICT becomes aware of any fault or defect in the PROJECT or nonconformance with the construction contract. However, the DISTRICT'S failure or omission to do so shall not relieve the ARCHITECT of his/her responsibilities hereunder and the DISTRICT shall have no duty to observe, inspect or investigate the PROJECT.
