DUES ASSESSMENTS. Any employee of the City in a classification represented by the Local 1245 who is not on leave of absence may become a member of the Local 1245. Such amounts shall be determined by Local 1245 and implemented by the City in the first payroll period after receipt of written notification of employee authorization from Local 1245.

DUES ASSESSMENTS. Fee: Each application for membership in the Local shall be directed to the Membership Co-ordinator and shall be forwarded to the Secretary-Treasurer accompanied by an initiation fee of which shall be in addition to monthly dues. DUES ASSESSMENTS. 14.01 The Employer shall remit ten ($0.10) cents per hour worked to the Union on behalf of each employee as Union assessment.
DUES ASSESSMENTS. On each pay date on which a member is paid, the Employer shall deduct from each member the dues and any dues chargeable by the Local or an equivalent amount. The amounts shall be determined annually by and/or the Local in accordance with their respective constitutions and forwarded to the Employer at least thirty (30) days prior to the expected date of change. The Local dues deducted in shall be remitted to the General Secretary of the no later than the fifteenth day of the month following the date on which the deductions were made. Such remittance shall be accompanied by a list identifying the members, their Social Insurance numbers, daily rate, number of days worked in the pay period, earnings for the pay period, and the Federation Fees deducted. the Local, as the case may be, shall indemnify and hold the Board harmless from any claims, suits, attachments and any form of liability as a result of such deductions authorized by and/or the Local. and/or the Local agrees to execute such directions as may be necessary to authorize such deductions.

  • TAXES & ASSESSMENTS The real estate taxes shall be prorated.
