First Semester Entry Date: August 24, 2019 or 24 hours prior to academic program commencement, whichever is later. First Semester Departure Date: December 18, 2019 or 48 hours after the resident’s last confirmed on campus December Exam, whichever comes first. Once exams are completed residence will close for the duration of the December break. Note: Residents may leave their belongings, but the premises must be vacated during the December closure period. Second Semester Entry Date: January 4, 2020 or 48 hours prior to academic program commencement, whichever is later. Second Semester Departure Date: April 30, 2020 or 48 hours after the resident’s last on campus Spring Exam, whichever comes first. 2. Residents may apply to Residence Admissions for permission to arrive prior to the entry dates, and/or to extend occupancy beyond their final exam. No residents may arrive prior to August 10, 2019. Requests for permission to arrive prior to the entry dates, and/or extend occupancy beyond the residents final exam are subject to approval by Residence Administration and are not guaranteed. No residents may stay in residence past December 18, 2019 and/or April 30, 2020. Residents seeking to apply must contact Residence Admissions and submit the appropriate paperwork by the deadline.

Duration of Occupancy. This Contract authorizes occupancy during the academic year, excluding the following vacation periods: Thanksgiving, Winter Break/Intersession, Spring Break and Summer.
Duration of Occupancy. This Agreement authorizes occupancy during the academic year, as outlined above. The Residence Hall Agreement permits room occupancy by residents as of scheduled move-in dates established by Housing and Residential Education. It includes all dates of academic classes as published in the University calendar and extends through final testing periods each semester. Unless otherwise confirmed for the break immediately following, housing privileges end each semester 24 hours after a resident's final examination or by 5:00 p.m. on the last day of final examinations, whichever comes first. Graduating seniors may remain in residence until 7:00 p.m. on Graduation Day.

Duration of Occupancy. This contract authorizes occupancy during the Academic Year, exclusive of Thanksgiving, intersession and spring break vacation periods, except as provided herein. Residents who are granted permission to reside in the residence halls during intersession, summer, and other vacation periods may make special arrangements through Residential Life Student Services. All provisions of this contract will then apply to intersession, summer, and vacation residents as appropriate. This contract will remain in effect until the official semester closing date(s) of the last semester of residency, which shall be widely announced at least six weeks prior to said closing, regardless of the date upon which it was entered into, subject to the terms, conditions, and covenants herein. During intersession and other designated vacation periods during the academic year, students may store personal property in the room to which they are assigned, unless the University indicates at least four weeks in advance a need to have the room emptied. However, the University is not responsible for loss of, theft of, or damage to studentspersonal possessions left in student rooms at any time, including during said periods. Students are encouraged to arrange privately for insurance of their property.

Duration of Occupancy. This Contract is for the academic year and covers residency for the Fall and Spring semesters from move in day through 24 hours after the student’s last final exam of each semester. Residents will be notified in advance as to the dates when the Residence Hall will be closed and the times that they must vacate. Exceptions may be authorized by the Xxxx of Student Development or their designee and may incur additional fees. During breaks between terms and other designated closures during the academic year, the College may authorize Resident to store personal property in the room to which they are assigned, unless the College needs the room emptied. However, the College does not accept responsibility for personal possessions left in student rooms during said closures. Residents must vacate the Residence Hall within 24 hours of withdrawal, dismissal from housing, or when no longer actively participating in classes. Although precautions are taken to maintain security of the College campus, the College does not assume any legal obligation to pay for injury to person (including death) or loss of or damage to items of personal property that may occur in its buildings or on its grounds prior to, during or subsequent to the Contract period. DSCHC and the College shall not be liable to Resident, or their respective guests, for any damage, injury, or loss to person or property from any cause whatsoever, nor for failure or interruption of utilities, or other occurrences even if such damage is injury or loss caused by the negligence of the College or DSCHC. Resident expressly waives all claims for such injury, loss, or damage. DSCHC and the College do not provide insurance for Resident’s personal property.

  • NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS Tenant agrees that the House shall be occupied by no more than [Total Number of Occupants] persons, including no more than [Maximum Number of Children] under the age of eighteen (18) years, without the prior written consent of Landlord.

The Design Professional’s obligation is to design the Work to comply with the applicable codes and to qualify for a Certificate of Occupancy.

  • PARTIAL OCCUPANCY OR USE 9.9.1 The Owner may occupy or use any completed or partially completed portion of the Work at any stage when such portion is designated by separate agreement with the Contractor, provided such occupancy or use is consented to by the insurer as required under Paragraph 11.3.1.5, the surety, and authorized by public authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. Such partial occupancy or use may commence whether or not the portion is substantially complete, provided the Owner and Contractor have accepted in writing the responsibilities assigned to each of them for payments, retainage, if any, security, maintenance, heat, utilities, damage to the Work and insurance, and have agreed in writing concerning the period for correction of the Work and commencement of warranties required by the Contract Documents. When the Contractor considers a portion substantially complete, the Contractor shall prepare and submit a list to the Architect as provided under Paragraph 9.8.2. Consent of the Contractor to partial occupancy or use shall not be unreasonably withheld. 9.9.2 Immediately prior to partial occupancy or use, the Owner, Contractor and Architect shall jointly inspect the area to be occupied or portion of the Work to be used in order to determine and record the condition of the Work. 9.9.3 Partial occupancy or use of a portion or portions of the Work shall not constitute acceptance of Work not complying with the requirements of the Contract Documents.

  • Early Occupancy If Tenant occupies the Property prior to the Commencement Date, Tenant's occupancy of the Property shall be subject to all of the provisions of this Lease. Early occupancy of the Property shall not advance the expiration date of this Lease. Tenant shall pay Base Rent and all other charges specified in this Lease for the early occupancy period.
