DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT. A. The Department, through its Judicial Districts, shall compensate Contractor for services performed under this Agreement at a fee to be determined in accordance with the Office of Language Access Fiscal Policy. Compensation shall be paid separately by each District in which Contractor has provided services under this Agreement for services rendered in that District.
B. It is specifically agreed that the fee is neither a salary nor an hourly wage, and any computation of fee based on performance time is for convenience of the parties in determining value of services and not intended as a salary or hourly wage.
DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT. In addition to the payment of funds as previously described, the Department also agrees to provide or do the following:
1. Shall submit to the Board of Public Works, Legislative Committees and the Division of Legislative Services any interagency expenditure exceeding $100,000 as detailed in Senate Xxxx 508 and BPW Advisory 2004-5.

Other than awarding the funds to the grantee for this project, MHHD will: • Provide necessary technical support and monitoring to grantee to ensure state and federal grant compliance. This includes but is not limited to: • Completion of the MDH Office of the Inspector General Risk Assessment • Completion of the Standard Grant Agreement Checklist • Determination of Good Standing with The State of Maryland • Review for Debarment, Suspension, or any Exclusion from doing business with Maryland • Determination regarding No Conflicts of Interest • Review of Single Audits • Review for Debarment, Suspension, or any Exclusion from doing business with the Federal Government
DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT. The Department shall provide technical assistance, training, research, and coordination in stormwater management technology to VSMP authorities consistent with the purposes of this article.

DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT. 3.1 The Department hereby grants all such powers and duties to the Independent Healthcare Practitioner as are required to enable him or her to lawfully perform their duties effectively and competently in terms of this Agreement.
3.2 The Department shall:
3.2.1 provide the Independent Healthcare Practitioner with timeous access to information reasonably required by the Parties to perform its duties under this Agreement; and
3.2.2 monitor and manage the implementation of this Agreement and the performance of the Parties.
DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT. 3.1 The Minister shall act as the host for the conference on the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.
3.2 The role of the Department shall be to act as a full partner in the undertaking to host the conference subject to the financial safeguards set out in paragraph 10.
3.3 The Minister shall appoint an Organising Committee whose task shall be to assist with the planning and general oversight of the arrangements for the conference.
3.4 The Minister shall chair the Organising Committee. He shall designate an alternate to represent him and to chair the Committee when he is not present.
3.5 The Organising Committee shall consist of at least twenty but not more than twenty-five members including representatives from the public sector, private sector and civil society and representatives of the Department of Justice.
3.6 An Executive Committee of the Organising Committee, consisting of at least three but not more than five persons, shall be charged with the day-to-day decision making.
3.7 The Department will use its good offices to promote attendance at the Conference in all appropriate ways.
DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT. The Department agrees:
A. The Department shall maintain a license agreement with Microsoft for SharePoint Server.
B. The SharePoint is managed by staff at the Department. The Department shall provide technical support through a Help Desk available Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4 PM at email Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxxx.xxx or 0-000-000-0000. A tutorial guide is available at Help Viewer tab within SharePoint.
C. The Department shall have the sole authority and responsibility to add and manage all Authorized Users, unless otherwise designated by the Department.
D. The Department shall verify the status of Authorized Users prior to acceptance of any legal or financial document from the SharePoint site (i.e. the individual signing the contract is authorized at the appropriate level in section 6 of this MOU).
E. The Department shall send all legal and administrative notifications regarding SharePoint Service Contract Center i.e. modifications, updates, user issues, etc. to the individual named as contract administrator in Section 4.
F. The Department assumes no responsibility for documents posted by non-Department Authorized Users and no responsibility for the activities, omissions, or other conduct of non-Department Authorized Users. If notified by an Authorized User of a document which allegedly does not conform to the terms and conditions of the MOU, the Department shall investigate the allegation and determine in its sole discretion whether to remove the document. The Department may also monitor documents at random and shall investigate inappropriate posting, usage, or conduct and determine in its sole discretion whether to remove the document. The Department may also terminate the MOU if an Authorized User violates any of the terms or conditions of this MOU.
