eCards. This is the first learning module for ON with a focus on Grade 7 Geography. Using eCards, students investigate where their energy comes from, and examine various forms of non- renewable and renewable energy sources. Based on their research, students create an eCard and email it to family, friends and others. The eCard learning module is student-directed, teacher-moderated learning based on the e-pedagogy guidelines that were developed. The eCards meets a real need for quality geography education and meets the curriculum expectations of Geography 7 and also is cross-curricular with language arts and other courses as well. The process for development includes Alpha and Beta testing with Ontario teachers and school board consultants. The Alpha testing has already been completed with over 200 Ontario students. The teachers really like the approach and students found the project much more meaningful than their standard work. Beta testing will be completed by the end of April, 2007 with a full-launch planned for September, 2007.

  • Cards 2.1 The Card is a prepaid payment card which may be used to pay for goods and services at participating retailers that accept MasterCard cards located within FLORA shopping mall(s). It is designed for use only within this limited network of shops and retail locations where You are physically present. Like any payment card, We cannot guarantee that a particular retailer will accept the Card – please check with the retailer before attempting the transaction if You are unsure.

  • Identification Cards Identification (“ID”) cards are issued by Us for identification purposes only. Possession of any ID card confers no right to services or benefits under this Contract. To be entitled to such services or benefits, Your Premiums must be paid in full at the time that the services are sought to be received.

  • Badges (A) Correctional officers and correctional probation officers shall be issued badges according to the following specifications:

  • Time Cards Employees may be required to complete their own time cards and submit them to their respective Supervisor.   • Internet Connectivity School must provide sufficient hardline internet connectivity and the required network configurations (provided in Exhibit A) for each Pixellot System to allow live broadcasts. PlayOn will provide the point-to-point wireless internet base station (“Point to Point”) when needed to deliver hardline internet connectivity to Pixellot Systems installed in outdoor venues; provided that PlayOn is able to select the make and model of the Point to Point system. In the event that School requests, or requires, a specific Point to Point system that is different from what is provided by PlayOn, then School must provide and install the Point to Point system at its own expense.

  • Passwords Passwords are an important aspect of computer security. A poorly chosen password may result in unauthorized access and/or exploitation of Placer County’s resources. All users, including contractors and vendors with access to the County’s systems, are responsible for the creation and protection of passwords and additionally any updates to County Password policies must be followed. Users must not use the same password for Placer County accounts and personal accounts. The reliability of passwords for maintaining confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Always assume that someone, in addition to the intended or designated recipient, may read any and all messages and files. Any user suspecting that his/her password may have been compromised must, without delay, report the incident to Placer County IT.

  • Demographics Obtain demographic information including age, race, ethnicity, and sex.
