Common use of Education and Training Fund Clause in Contracts

Education and Training Fund. 18.01 The Employer agrees to contribute ten cents ($0.10) per hour to the Union Education and Training Fund for all hours worked by all employees. 18.02 Monies from the Union’s Education and Training Fund will be made available for training and skill upgrades for the employees. The Union and the Employer will work together to determine training requirements and to arrange for, or deliver, that training.

Education and Training Fund. 18.01 The Employer agrees to contribute ten sixteen cents ($0.100.16) per hour to the Union Education and Training Fund for all hours worked by all employees. 18.02 Monies from Contributions to the Union’s Education and Training Fund will be made available for training used by the Union to assist members in exercising their right to work and skill upgrades for have access to jobsites, to educate and instruct members in the employees. The Union competent and the Employer will work together to determine training requirements safe practice of their trade and to arrange for, or deliver, that traininginstruct stewards in the practice of progressive labour relations on behalf of the members.

Employees must have prior written approval for courses taken and shall be reimbursed upon completion of the course, and upon receipts being supplied. 18.02 Monies from the Union’s Education and Training Fund will be made available for training and skill upgrades for the employees. The Union and the Employer will work together to determine training requirements and to arrange for, or deliver, that training.
