Common use of Education and Training Fund Clause in Contracts

Education and Training Fund. 18.01 The Employer agrees to contribute the amount per hour as set out in Schedules “A-1” and “A-2” to the Union Education and Training Fund for all hours worked by all employees. 18.02 Contributions to the Fund will be used by the Union to assist members in exercising their right to work and have access to jobsites, to educate and instruct members in the competent and safe practice of their trade and to instruct Stewards in the practice of progressive labour relations on behalf of the members.
