Educational Attainment Incentive Pay. The University will adjust a Local 6070 bargaining unit member’s base rate of pay by the corresponding number of steps for the following certificates and degrees. The pay adjustment will become effective the first full pay period after the Local 6070 bargaining unit member provides proof of degree conferral to the Associate Vice Chancellor. This incentive may not be awarded retroactively. Local 6070 bargaining unit members at the top step of the salary schedule are ineligible for the step increase(s) for this incentive. ● 1-year certificates (Occupational Endorsement Certificates, Undergraduate Certificates, and Post Baccalaureate Certificates) from an accredited institution – 1 step ● Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution – 1 step ● Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution – 2 steps ● Master’s Degree from an accredited institution – 2 steps
