NATIONAL EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS 9.1 It is the intention of this Agreement that the NES, as it may be varied from time to time, shall apply to the employees the subject of this Agreement. Any provisions of the NES that are also referred to or set out in this Agreement are for the convenience only of the parties.
Employment Relations Education Leave 26.1 The Employer shall grant leave on pay for employees party to this MECA to attend courses authorised by NZNO to facilitate the employee’s education and training as employee representatives in the workplace. Casual Employment (a) A casual employee is an employee engaged as such on an hourly basis.
TEACHER EMPLOYMENT 8.1. The Board agrees to employ only those teachers who hold at least a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and are certifiable by the New Hampshire State Department of Education. This provision shall not apply in the instance where the availability of personnel is critical and an appropriate waiver is granted by the New Hampshire State Department of Education.
Education Leave (a) If required by the Employer, an employee shall be entitled to leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority and benefits to write examinations to upgrade his or her employment qualifications.
