EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. In accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act (the “Act”), the Employer will grant the following leaves:
a. Section 52 Family Responsibility Leave
b. Section 52.11 Critical Illness or Injury Leave
c. Section 52.5
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. The Employer shall grant the following unpaid leaves; Family Caregiver Leave, Critically Ill Child Care Leave and Crime-related Child Death or Disappearance Leave, as requested by the Employee, in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. The Employer shall grant leaves as requested by the Employee in accordance with the Employment Standards Act of Ontario as amended from time to time. Examples of such leaves are: Family Caregiver Leave, Family Medical Leave, Critical Illness (Adult and/or Child) Leave, Child Death Leave, Crime-Related Child Disappearance Leave, Emergency Leave/Declared Emergencies, Organ Donor Leave, Reservist Leave, and Domestic or Sexual Violence Leave.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. The Employer shall grant leaves as requested by the Employee in accordance with the Employment Standards Act of Ontario as amended from time to time. Examples of such leaves are: Family Caregiver Leave, Family Medical Leave Critical Illness (Adult and/or Child) Leave, Child Death Leave, Crime-related Child Disappearance Leave, Emergency Leave/Declared Emergencies, Organ Donor Leave, Reservist Leave, Personal Emergency Leave, and Domestic or Sexual Violence Leave. Leaves shall not operate to extend the term of a Limited-Term Employees contract.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. The Employer will comply with the requirements of the Employment Standards Act with respect to the unpaid leaves of absences.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. The employer will grant other paid and unpaid leaves in accordance with the British Columbia Employment Standards Act including leave for intimate personal and relationship violence and sick leave.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. The Employer recognizes there are a variety of unpaid leaves under the Employment Standards Act including, but not limited to: • Leave respecting the disappearance of a child; • Leave respecting the death of a child; • Family responsibility leave; • Critical illness leave; • Compassionate care leave; and • Leave respecting Domestic or Sexual Violence. The Employer will permit such leaves in accordance with the terms set out in the Employment Standards Act, as if may be amended from time to time.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. 14.3.1. Unless the Collective Agreement provides a greater right or benefit to the Employee, leaves of Absence referenced in the Employment Standards Act, S.O. 2000, and listed below, are available to employees in accordance with and subject to the provisions of the Act.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. The following leaves are available to employees in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, as amended from time to time. Eligibility for these leaves and the length of each leave varies. For further information or to notify the Centre of your intent to take one of the following leaves, please contact Human Resources. This includes, but is not limited to, the following leaves: Pregnancy and Parental, Family Medical Leave, Family Caregiver Leave, Child Death Leave, Crime Related Child Disappearance Leave, Domestic of Sexual Violence Leave, Emergency Leave: Declared Emergencies and Infectious Disease Emergencies Leave, Critical Illness Leave, Organ Donor Leave, Family Responsibility Leave and Reservist Leave.
