Effect of Extended Military Leave. State and federal law require an employer to grant an employee leave for specified military service. The Town will abide by both the spirit and intent of the law. An employee who is on military leave may, at the employee’s request, use comprehensive leave at the time the military leave becomes effective, or at any time during the course of the extended leave.
