EMPLOYEE SHIFTS. Any changes in Employee shifts (days, swings, mids) will be offered by Seniority. An employee’s shift will be one in which the employee normally works a fixed (no rotation) shift. When a vacancy occurs on any shift by reasons of any available opening, the opening will be offered to most senior employee in the required classification. For clarity, if a swing shift Simulator Technician II classification position becomes available, the position would be bid on by employees within the Simulator Technician II job classification. Selecting from the bids, the most senior employee would have first right of refusal and continue down to the lowest senior Simulator Technician II employee. If no bids are received or no one accepted the open position, the most junior person in the Simulator Technician II job classification would be assigned to that position.
