Employees Working Less than Regular Hours. An employee working less than the regular hours per day of a full- time employee, and who is requested to work longer than their regular work day, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours in the work day of a full-time employee. Overtime rates shall apply to hours worked in excess of the normal hours in the work day of a full-time employee.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • Regular Employees A regular employee is an employee who has either served the required probationary term or has previously been employed in one of the other categories and has satisfactorily met the job requirements. The employee occupies a position that is considered part of the ongoing organization of OPG.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.
