Employer Contribution Amount--Half-Time Employees. For each eligible employee covered by this Agreement who is employed half time, the Employer agrees to contribute fifty percent (50%) of the amount contributed for full-time employees selecting employee coverage; or for each half-time employee who selects family insurance coverage, the Employer will contribute fifty percent (50%) of the amount contributed for full-time employees selecting family coverage in the same insurance plan.

Employer Contribution Amount--Half-Time Employees. For each eligible employee covered by this Agreement who is employed half time, the Employer agrees to contribute fifty percent (50%) of the amount contributed for full-time employees selecting employee coverage; or for each half-time employee who selects family insurance coverage, the Employer will contribute fifty percent (50%) of the amount contributed for full-time employees selecting family coverage in the same insurance plan. 1.6.1 Notwithstanding Section 1.6 above, employees covered by this Agreement and employed half time prior to January 1, 1986, shall receive the same insurance contributions as a full-time employee. This Section 1.6.1 applies only to employees who were employed half-time during the month of December 1985 and shall continue to apply only as long as such employee remains continuously employed half time.

  • Employer Contribution (a) An Employer contribution for health and dental benefits will only be made for each active employee who has at least eighty (80) paid regular hours in a month and who is eligible for medical insurance coverage, unless otherwise required by law. (b) It is understood that the administrative intent of this Article is that the Employer contribution is made for individuals who are participants in the medical insurance coverages. Participation will mean that eligible less-than-full-time employees who drop out of coverage will be considered to participate. Additionally, employees who elect to opt out of coverage for a cash incentive will be considered to participate.
