Excessive Teaching Loads/Caseloads. When staffing changes are needed during the school year and when staffing plans are made for the upcoming year, the committee will make recommendations to the site administration regarding possible configurations. The committee shall discuss with the administration items which will include but not be limited to: issues regarding the organization and procedures within that school or department and issues within that school or department relating to the implementation of this Agreement or district-wide Board policies. The committee and administration will endeavor to make decisions about how their plans and initiatives should be implemented, including the formation of committees for this purpose, through a consensus process. In the spring, a tentative list of committees/events for the next year will be developed and communicated.

Excessive Teaching Loads/Caseloads. Any teacher who feels that his/her teaching load/caseload is excessive may file a written request for an evaluation of the situation with the site administration/ immediate supervisor and School Department. The administrator will provide the teacher with a written finding within five (5) school days of the request. The teacher may appeal the site decision to the Superintendent or his/her designee and Human Resources. The Superintendent/Designee will whenever possible, meet with the site administrator/immediate supervisor, the teacher, and the School Department representative within five (5) school days of the appeal. If such a meeting is not possible, arrangements will be made so that all parties can contribute evidence of the excessive load. The final decision of the appeal will be provided to the teacher and the site administrator/immediate supervisor within three (3) school days of the meeting.

Supervision duties shall be assigned each year pursuant to a plan jointly determined by the school/department committee and the building administration. The committee shall discuss with the administration items which will include but not be limited to: issues regarding the organization and procedures within that school or department and issues within that school or department relating to the implementation of this Agreement or district-wide Board policies. The committee and administration will endeavor to make decisions about how their plans and initiatives should be implemented, including the formation of committees for this purpose, through a consensus process. In the spring, a tentative list of committees/events for the next year will be developed and communicated. The committee shall identify a portion of non-attendance day(s), which shall be dedicated to parent-teacher conferences, parent-teacher meetings and / or programs as set forth in Section 15.22 of this Agreement. After consultation with the SIP team, the identification of which non-attendance day(s) will be dedicated to activities set forth in Section 15.22 of this Agreement shall occur no later than the last School Department’s meeting of the prior school year.

  • Teaching Loads The range of teaching loads, number of preparations and number of pupil contacts required should provide for effective instruction and meaningful teacher-student interaction. DPS and the Association agree to work together to seek increased state funding to decrease class size. The principal shall report to the CSC, after the roster verification process, the number of students in each class and this will be published in the CSC minutes on the school’s website. For the purposes of this section, a “class” shall be defined as any general education, including electives and model one classes. Upon request, after the roster verification process, the District shall provide the Association with the student information management system data regarding class enrollment.

  • Teaching Load Full teaching assignments shall normally include 12 course credit hours of scheduled teaching per academic quarter. A reassignment of duty, for the equivalent of 3 or 4 credit course, shall be provided during one term of the first academic year to all newly hired tenure track faculty to further their teaching, scholarship and service and to encourage faculty retention. Wherever possible the University will endeavor to arrange teaching schedules that avoid excessive numbers of preparations and recognize evening and/or off-campus assignments. Class sizes will be established and monitored by the appropriate academic xxxx in consultation with division chairs and affected faculty each term. The following equivalencies will be used in determining teaching assignments:

  • RE-WEIGHING PRODUCT Deliveries are subject to re- weighing at the point of destination by the Authorized User. If shrinkage occurs which exceeds that normally allowable in the trade, the Authorized User shall have the option to require delivery of the difference in quantity or to reduce the payment accordingly. Such option shall be exercised in writing by the Authorized User.

As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes.   • TEACHING FACILITIES 4.1 The Board agrees to maintain health and safety conditions at each school site in compliance with applicable statutes and/or regulations. Teachers shall not be required to work under unsafe conditions as determined by proper regulatory authority.

  • CLEC OUTAGE For a problem limited to one CLEC (or a building with multiple CLECs), BellSouth has several options available for restoring service quickly. For those CLECs that have agreements with other CLECs, BellSouth can immediately start directing traffic to a provisional CLEC for completion. This alternative is dependent upon BellSouth having concurrence from the affected CLECs. Whether or not the affected CLECs have requested a traffic transfer to another CLEC will not impact BellSouth's resolve to re-establish traffic to the original destination as quickly as possible.

  • Line Outage Costs Notwithstanding anything in the NYISO OATT to the contrary, the Connecting Transmission Owner may propose to recover line outage costs associated with the installation of Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities or System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades on a case-by-case basis.

Psychological Testing This plan covers psychological testing as a behavioral health benefit when rendered by: • neuropsychologists; • psychologists; or • pediatric neurodevelopmental specialists. This plan covers neuropsychological testing as described in the Tests, Labs and Imaging section.
