Common use of Extended Personal Leave Clause in Contracts

Extended Personal Leave. Any teacher desiring extended personal leave shall make written application for such leave. The teacher shall not be entitled to compensation while on extended leave. All extended leave may be granted at the discretion of the Board. When on approved unpaid leave, benefits with Wakulla County Schools may be continued by paying the entire premium (employee portion plus the Board contribution). 1. No leave shall be granted at one time for a period greater than one (1) year, and cannot extend beyond the end of the current fiscal year.
