EXTENDED SICK TIME. (a) Extended sick time (EST) is provided to a non-probationary Represented Worker for an approved extended illness or injury after a seven (7) calendar day elimination period. Incidental Sick Time may be used to cover this seven (7) day period.
EXTENDED SICK TIME. SECTION A. FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE 336. A full-time employee who has at least two (2) full years of continuous service and has eighty (80) hours of continuous sickness and injury absence will be eligible for not more than one thousand fifty-six (1056) hours of Extended Sick Time income, paid at full pay and one thousand fifty-six (1056) hours of Extended Sick Time paid at one-half the employee’s pay. The Extended Sick Time hours are pro-rated to the employees appointment fraction. The pay rate includes the hourly shift differential for those employees assigned to and working a schedule of straight off shifts at onset of the injury or illness. This does not apply to the weekend differential. It is renewable on the first (1st) of the month following their seventh (7th) anniversary and every five (5) years thereafter.   • Extended Sick Leave When sick leave extends for more than 25 consecutive working days, the appointing authority shall initiate the following procedure:

  • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Extended Time Teachers, including but not limited to counselors, special education building coordinators, and library media specialists, who are assigned extended time beyond the school year to complete their regular school year duties will be paid on a pro-rata basis from the applicable salary schedule.

  • Extended Illness Sick leave for extended illness (5 or more days) will be paid only during the time period in which a physician certifies the employee to be physically or mentally disabled, and only to the extent of the number of days accumulated.

  • EXTENDED SERVICE 156 Upon application, a military leave of absence (without pay) will be granted to employees who are employed in other than temporary positions. This applies to employees who are inducted through a selective service system or voluntary enlistment, or if the employee is called through membership in the National Guard or reserve component into the Armed Forces of the United States.

  • Extended Reporting Period If any required insurance coverage is on a claims-made basis (rather than occurrence), Contractor shall maintain such coverage for a period of no less than three (3) years following expiration or termination of the Master Contract.
