Extra Length Shifts. 7.2.1 Ten-hour shifts. Where mutually agreeable to the Employer and the nurse concerned, a normal workday may consist of ten (10) hours. All time worked in excess of ten (10) hours on any shift shall be paid at a premium rate of time and one-half the regular rate of pay. All time worked in excess of fourteen (14) consecutive hours shall be paid at the premium rate of double the straight time rate of pay.
