EXTRA PERFORMANCES AND SERVICES. A. If ARTIST shall be required to take part in a greater number of performances in any one week than is provided for herein, or if Leading or Featured ARTIST is required to take part in two (2) performances in any one (1) day, such ARTIST shall be paid additional compensation based upon a pro rata of such ARTIST’s contractual compensation (exclusive of per diem) for each such additional performance.
B. Any ARTIST who performs the services of Singer and STAGE DIRECTOR in the same opera production shall be paid two (2) distinct fees for such engagement.
C. Any Dancer who performs the services of a CHOREOGRAPHER in addition to that of a SOLO DANCER, shall be paid both fees, either at weekly rate or the single performance rate, as the case may be.

(b) Any ARTIST who performs the services of an Assistant Stage Director and Choreographer in the same opera production shall be compensated for such engagement by two

(b) Any ARTIST who performs the services of Singer and STAGE DIRECTOR in the same opera production shall be compensated for such engagement by two distinct fees, in the appropriate categories.
(c) In the event a PERFORMING PRINCIPAL ARTIST is required to perform a cover role, per contractual commitment, the ARTIST will be paid at least the minimum per performance rate, commensurate with the classification of the role as listed in “Schedule C” and as provided above, for each performance rendered in addition to the ARTIST’s existing contractual compensation.

For PRINCIPAL ARTISTS engaged on a weekly basis, this pro rata shall be based on their weekly compensation divided by the maximum number of performances in Article XXVIII.A.2.d.
B. Any ARTIST who performs the services of Performing PRINCIPAL ARTIST and STAGE DIRECTOR in the same opera production shall be paid two (2) distinct fees for such engagement.
C. Any DANCER who performs the services of a CHOREOGRAPHER in addition to that of a SOLO DANCER, shall be paid both fees, either at weekly rate or the single performance rate, as the case may be. ARTICLE XXXI - STAGE DIRECTORS, STAGE MANAGERS, CHOREOGRAPHERS, AND THEIR ASSISTANTS A. STAGE DIRECTORS
1. The minimum compensation of STAGE DIRECTORS shall be on a weekly basis, as follows: PER WEEK As of 7/1/22 As of 7/1/23 As of 7/1/24 Stage Director $2,372.05 $2,443.20 $2,492.05 below.
2. Per Diem payments shall be made in accordance with Article XXXI.B.3
3. Should the STAGE DIRECTOR be required to rehearse alternate casts, provisions shall be made in the Individual Artist Agreement.
4. STAGE DIRECTORS shall be prepared to rehearse in accordance with the parameters set forth in the Individual Artist Agreement, provided said contract has been signed by ARTIST or their agent prior to commencement of rehearsals.
5. In recognition of the unique nature of the position, STAGE DIRECTORS are not subject to the rehearsal limitations or the overtime provisions contained elsewhere in this Agreement. However, MANAGEMENT shall assign only reasonable and industry-accepted hours and responsibilities. Nothing in this Article shall abrogate the rights of the STAGE DIRECTORS with regard to other provisions of this Agreement including but not limited to Grievance and Arbitration, Force Majeure, Health Insurance, and the like. To receive such health insurance benefits, STAGE DIRECTOR must be principally involved in the staging of the production, but need not be present for all performances to be credited for each performance, as set forth in Article XVIII of this Agreement.

Section 2. Any ARTIST who performs the services of Singer and one of the following in the same opera production shall be compensated for such engagement by two distinct fees, in the appropriate category: Stage Director, Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Director and Assistant Stage Manager.
Section 3. Two (2) productions presented within each contract year may be scheduled with a maximum weekly total of 36 hours without overtime compensation. If the maximum weekly total is exceeded, the PRINCIPAL shall be compensated at the overtime rate per hour specified in Article XX of this Agreement. For all other productions within each contract year, a maximum weekly total of thirty (30) rehearsal hours may be scheduled without overtime compensation.
EXTRA PERFORMANCES AND SERVICES a. Regardless of the number of contracts for which the PRINCIPAL ARTIST is engaged, if any ARTIST shall be required to take part in a greater number of performances in any one
(1) week than is provided for herein, or if any Leading or Featured ARTIST is required to take part in two (2) performances in any one (1) day, such ARTIST shall be paid an additional compensation based upon a pro rata of his contractual compensation (exclusive of per diem) for each such additional performance.
b. Any ARTIST who performs the services of Singer and Stage Director in the same opera production shall be compensated for such engagement by two distinct fees, in each appropriate category.
c. Any ARTIST who performs the services of Choreographer and Solo Dancer or Choreographer and Dancer in the same opera production shall be compensated for such engagement by two (2) distinct fees, in each appropriate category.

(a) Regardless of the number of contracts for which the PRINCIPAL ARTIST is engaged, if any ARTIST shall be required to take part in a greater number of performances in any one
(1) week than is provided for herein, or if any Leading or Featured ARTIST is required to take part in two (2) performances in any one (1) day, such ARTIST shall be paid no less than an additional compensation based upon a pro-rata of their contractual compensation (exclusive of per diem) for each such additional performance.
(b) Any ARTIST who performs the services of SINGER and STAGE DIRECTOR in the same opera production shall be compensated for such engagement by two (2) distinct fees, in the appropriate category. An ASSISTANT STAGE DIRECTOR shall not be cast in another role, however, an ASSISTANT STAGE DIRECTOR can stand in for a role in an emergency.
