Field Study Sample Clauses

Field Study. Based on requests from the County in determining the geotechnical needs of the project, the following number of borings and boring depths are proposed: Pedestrian Bridges 4 25 Retaining Wall 3 15 Boardwalk 3 15 Samples will be taken using conventional split‐spoon, Shelby‐tube, and NX rock core sampling techniques. Borings will be located in the field utilizing a recreation grade hand‐held GPS device and/or tape and right angle measurements from existing benchmarks. Our scope of service does not include surveying in the boring locations. Brush Clearing for equipment is included. The borings will be backfilled utilizing auger cuttings generated during drilling activities.

Field Study. RKCI and the design team performed site reconnaissance on May 3, 2021. Based on the project’s alignment, estimated storm sewer line depths, and new traffic signals, we propose to conduct the following drilling scheme in order to assess subsurface conditions along the proposed road alignment.
Field Study. The Contractor will complete a study to analyze the use of biodegradable bag material for the purpose of retrofitting and/or constructing intertidal oyster shell breakwaters. Contractor will use similar methodologies as those used by a recent south Texas study. Subrecipient will ensure the Contractor monitors oyster abundance and size of oysters in both plastic mesh bags and biodegradable bags. Subrecipient will oversee the calculation of oyster growth rates, survivorship rates, and bag decomposition rate by the Contractor. Contractor will also use amplicon sequencing to investigate the role of prokaryotic and eukaryotic microbial community diversity and dynamics among the different bag types. TPWD will serve in an advisory capacity to provide technical assistance and incorporate research findings, as appropriate, in the state's Best Management Practices for use of shell cultch in reef restoration.
Field Study. To explore subsurface soil conditions at this site, RKCI will advance one boring to a maximum depth of 15 ft below existing ground surface. The boring will be terminated in rock if rock is encountered below 6 ft from existing ground surface. ► CONSULTANTS • ENVIRONMENTAL • PROJECT MANAGEMENT • INFRASTRUCTURE DocuSign Envelope ID: 0DD73019-14C6-4693-9315-F1FC00C8B6FB TFC Contract No.00-000-000 Assignment No. 8 Exhibit A Xxxx Xxxxxxx Consultants, Inc. Proposal No. PAA20-141-00 October 19, 2020 Revision No. 1 Samples will be taken using conventional Shelby-tube and split-spoon sampling techniques. The boring will be backfilled utilizing auger cuttings and/or bentonite generated during drilling activities. For conditions where borings are advanced through concrete and/or asphalt surfaces, the borehole will be backfilled with auger cuttings and bentonite and then patched with similar coverings. Samples collected will be retained in our laboratory for 30 days after submittal of the final geotechnical report.
Field Study. Avalon agrees to complete the Field Study by August 15, 2000 and will provide a complete copy of the same to RRE upon completion. RRE agrees to provide Avalon with complete access to its well, production, accounting, land, engineering files and field operational facilities in connection with the preparation of the Field Study. Avalon shall provide all of the geologic and engineering staff necessary to perform the Field Study. The Field Study shall be performed by Avalon at its sole cost, risk and expense. Upon timely delivery of the Field Study, Avalon shall have the right to elect to proceed or discontinue the Pilot Project, which election shall be made in writing to RRE on or before August 31, 2000. Should Avalon elect not to continue with the Pilot Project based on the results of the Field Study, RRE will receive a complete copy of the Field Study and release Avalon from all other claims, responsibilities and obligations with respect to the Pilot Project and this Agreement shall be deemed terminated without any other act by either of the parties. However, should Avalon determine that the results of the Field Study are favorable, Avalon may provide its written election to proceed with the Pilot Project on or before August 31, 2000.
Field Study. The consultant team will complete an on-the-ground visual assessment of the Village to fully understand current land uses and development patterns. It is anticipated that Village staff or another person will take the consultant team on a tour to assist with this task.

Field Study. CHA will field verify the accuracy of the existing base maps and update as necessary. Our team will use then compare the land use and multi-modal connections of the existing base map to the present-day environment. CHA will also field verify the development of adjacent jurisdictions and accompanying land use and multi-modal connectivity to establish cohesive networks for users. CHA will also locate and identify existing and planned transportation and utility infrastructure to evaluate potential future sidewalk and trail corridors to advance connectivity and economical development while delivering a comprehensive plan for the future of Avon’s muti-modal network. Our team will field verify proposed connections for constraints, evaluate the severity of those constraints and present our recommendations to the Town of Avon. Assumptions:  We assume that any data collected in association with planned and completed project plans, existing maps, and utility plans will need field verified to accurately illustrate the most current conditions. This work has been assumed to require two (2) staff for two (2) days.
Field Study. Based on our review of the Geologic Atlas of Texas, the project site is located in an area underlain by Xxxxxxx Limestone. Based on our knowledge and experience, we anticipate hard excavation conditions. To explore subsurface soil conditions at this site, RKCI will drill three borings to 15 ft below existing ground surface along Xxxxx Drive and Pleasant Drive and two borings to 25 ft below existing ground surface at drainage channel’s intersection with Pleasant Cove and Xxxxxx Drive. The borings will be completed in the roadways utilizing a truck mounted drilling rig. Traffic control measures will be utilized to manage traffic during drilling operations. Samples will be taken using conventional split‐spoon, and NX rock core sampling techniques. The borings will be located in the field utilizing a recreation grade hand‐held GPS device. Our scope of service does not include surveying in the boring location. The surfaces will be patched with cold patch asphalt. ⏵ CONSULTANTS • ENVIRONMENTAL • PROJECT MANAGEMENT • INFRASTRUCTURE Samples collected will be retained in our laboratory for 30 days after submittal of the final geotechnical report.
