Filling of the Positions. Initially it is expected that some waiving of educational qualifications for the existing staff assigned to the Transmission & Distribution Design (T&DD) department may be made in order to fill the new positions. After these jobs are initially filled, employees in the promotional series will be polled first to fill a vacancy in the promotional series. If there are no successful bidders from within the promotional series the vacancy will be bid per the labor agreement. It should be noted that the qualifications for Job No. BB0249 Design Draftsman and Job No. BB0248 Draftsman have changed. All existing T&DD Senior Engineering Reps listed below will be placed in the newly formed Design Draftsman positions, and the existing T&DD Engineering Reps-Step 7 listed below will be placed in the newly formed Draftsman positions, and the qualifications waived. After this initial one-time grandfathering into classifications is complete, the new qualifications will be required when filling future vacancies. Rate of Pay 3. CAD Operator wages will be as negotiated in the current Labor Agreement.

Xxxxxxx, The following represents the understanding reached following discussions between the Company and Union regarding the above referenced matter. Answer Center employees who work shifts other than Monday through Friday will be off work on a calendar holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled work day. This means that they will be required to work at straight time on the day that particular holiday is observed by the Company if it is different than the calendar holiday. If both the calendar and observed holiday fall outside of the employee's regularly scheduled work week then contractual language shall be applied to determine which day is to be observed as the holiday.
