The FIRST AID OFFICER clause designates an individual or role responsible for providing first aid assistance on-site. Typically, this clause outlines the qualifications required for the first aid officer, such as holding a valid certification, and may specify their duties, including maintaining first aid supplies and responding to medical incidents during work hours or events. FIRST AID OFFICER. Where an employee possesses a current first aid certificate and has been approved by the delegate to undertake first aid duties, the employee will be paid an allowance of $23.82 per fortnight. This allowance will increase by two per cent 12 months from commencement of this Agreement, and a further two per cent 24 months from commencement of this Agreement.
FIRST AID OFFICER. An Employee appointed by the Company to the position of the First Aid Officer will be paid an allowance per day as per Clause 23.2.
FIRST AID OFFICER. The First Aid Officer shall be one of the duties of the Assistant Operations Manager, Operations Manager or General Manager, who shall all have a current First Aid Certificate and any allowance for same is paid as part such employee’s salary.
FIRST AID OFFICER. 26.1. Ego shall appoint First Aid Officers as required by the First Aid Code of Compliance. Such certified employee shall be paid during the term of their appointment an allowance at the rate of $20.54 per week.
26.2. The first aid allowance will be indexed annually in accordance with the percentage increases that apply to wages in this Agreement.
26.3. An employee on being requested by Ego to obtain First Aid Officer qualifications (St. ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ standard or equivalent) shall, on attaining such qualifications, be reimbursed by Ego for the cost of approved books/manuals and other approved out-of- pocket expenses associated with attending the first aid course and any subsequent approved refresher courses.
FIRST AID OFFICER. 3.1 Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical alert information on SEQTA and in year-group medical files
3.2 Ensure the sickbay area is clean and tidy including changing bed linen at least weekly
3.3 Manages first aid supplies in sickbay
3.4 Complies, updates and distributes first aid kits each term
3.5 Administer first aid to students and staff as required 3.6 Maintain defibrillators on campus
FIRST AID OFFICER. Where an employee is appointed by the employer as a First Aid Officer such employee shall receive an allowance of $9.30 per week
FIRST AID OFFICER. 23.1. An Employee appointed by the Company to the position of the First Aid Officer will be paid an allowance per working day in accordance with the rates set out in Appendix A - Classifications and Rates of Pay (6). For the purpose of identifying eligibility under this clause, a designated First Aid Officer is an Employee who is identified on the emergency response personnel notices posted at notice boards on sites and in offices.

An employee appointed by the Company to the position of the First Aid Officer and who has provided a valid First Aid Certificate will be paid an allowance per day as per the table in 46.4 For the purpose of identifying eligibility under this clause, a designated First Aid Officer is an employee who has provided a valid First Aid Certificate and is: • identified on the emergency response personnel notices posted at notice boards on sites and in offices • Employed as an CW-5 classification or above. 25 ALLOWANCES NOT PAYABLE The following allowances that may be payable under the Award are expressly not payable under this Agreement as they form part of the wage rates listed in Schedule 1 of the Agreement: • Special Allowance • In Charge of Plant Allowance • Industry Allowance • Tool and Employee Protection Allowance (and all sub clauses) • Compensation for Clothes and Tools • Caravan Allowance • Accident Pay • Follow the Job Loading • Multistorey • Towers • Underground Allowance • District Allowance • Laser Operations Allowance • Special Rates (and all sub clauses).
FIRST AID OFFICER. A formally trained and qualified First Aid Officer with proven, relevant qualifications and proven experience on landfills. He/she shall be present on site full-time and whose duties shall include, but not be limited to:
i) Provision of first aid and first-call medial services.
ii) Assisting and advising the Site Manager in the procurement of suitable First Aid equipment.
iii) Liaison with Health and Safety Officer.
