Professional Conferences and Meetings. (a) Leave with pay may be granted in accordance with City policy to attend professional conferences and meetings, or to visit other cities in the interest of the City.
Professional Conferences and Meetings. All substitute, travel, and per diem expenses will be paid by the Employer in instances where the educator is requested by the Employer to represent the Employer at professional conferences, meetings, symposia, and seminars. Educators who voluntarily attend such meetings and conferences may be partially reimbursed for attendance at such activities subject to prior approval of the superintendent.

SBBC shall pay in full or reimburse all legally valid expenses and fees associated with the Superintendent’s participation in such conferences and meetings. Periodic reports will be provided to SBBC by the Superintendent about such conferences and meetings. As required by applicable law and School Board Policy 3400, the Superintendent shall file itemized expense statements to be processed and approved by the School District.

The Board encourages the Interim Superintendent to attend professional conferences and meetings with other educational agencies and educators during the term of this Agreement. The School Board shall pay in full or reimburse all legally valid expenses and fees associated with the Interim Superintendent’s participation in such conferences and meetings. The Interim Superintendent shall periodically provide reports to the School Board about those conferences and meetings in which she has participated. The Interim Superintendent shall file itemized expense statements for processing and approval by the School Board as provided by law and Board policies.
Professional Conferences and Meetings. XXXX, KNEA, NEA Official delegates of XXXX will follow the same procedure to attend conferences sponsored by the professional association as outlined in governing principles and procedures. Representatives and/or delegates of the XXXX absent during regular school hours shall suffer no loss of time or salary deduction when attending approved meetings. A calendar of such meetings will be submitted to the Superintendent’s office.
