FTO Program. Employees working as Field Training Officers shall receive three (3) hours of straight time pay or three (3) hours accrued time for each 10-hour period so worked.

FTO Program. In an effort to further enhance operational and position effectiveness, the parties agree to implement a field training program. The Company will solicit volunteers from each shift who are willing to be recognized as a Field Training Officer (FTO). The Company and Union will discuss and must be in agreement on whether an individual meets the qualifications to be an effective FTO. If approved by the parties, FTO volunteers may be required to complete an additional FTO certification. Qualified volunteers for FTO positions will be selected in seniority order if the parties are in agreement the individual is deemed to be qualified. It is understood under no circumstance will an employee be forced to participate in the FTO Program. Volunteers can be removed from the FTO role should either party determine at any time the employee is no longer qualified.
FTO Program. The Department shall determine the number of FTOs needed, the duration of FTO assignments, and whether to add, modify, or remove individual FTO assignments based on FTO performance concerns, changes in staffing levels or shift needs, extended leaves of (30) calendar days or more, or sustained disciplinary issues. FTO assignments will be voluntary in nature. Change in FTO status will be provided in writing and may be appealed to the Division Director.
FTO Program. Officers performing the duties of a field training officer shall be 899 compensated at a rate of $1.25 per hour for time actually spent training officers under the 900 program. Management maintains its right to make FTO assignments from the existing pool 901 of qualified FTOs. The officers so chosen shall serve as FTOs upon assignment until the Chief 902 of Police or designee and the officer mutually agree to the officer’s removal. 903 7.8.1 FTO requirements include: 904 a. Minimum of 3‐years as a Green Bay police officer. 905 b. The selection process will be in accordance with 7.3. 906 7.8.2 FTOs may flex the hours in their workday to attend meetings, training, or conduct 907 training. 908 7.8.3 FTOs attending meetings, training, or conducting training on their off day, or outside 909 their regular hours, shall be compensated at time for time payback.
