Full sabbatical option Clause Samples
The Full Sabbatical Option clause grants eligible employees the right to take an extended, uninterrupted period of paid or unpaid leave from their regular duties, typically for purposes such as research, professional development, or personal renewal. This clause outlines the conditions under which an employee may apply for a sabbatical, the duration allowed (often several months to a year), and any requirements for returning to work afterward. Its core practical function is to support employee well-being and professional growth while ensuring organizational planning and continuity during the employee's absence.
