Full-Time New Hire Wage Progression and Casual Rates. A. CDL Qualified Driver or Mechanics. Effective April 1, 2019 all regular employees hired on or after that date and employees who are in progression shall receive the following hourly and/or mileage rates of pay: (a) Effective first (1st) day of employment ninety percent (90%) of the current rate. (b) Effective first (1st) day of employment plus one (1) year nine- ty-five percent (95%) of the current rate. (c) Effective first (1st) day of employment plus two (2) years one hundred percent (100%) of the current rate. Regular, full-time employees in these two categories who currently are in progression also shall be moved to one hundred percent (100%) of the applicable wage rate effective April 1, 2019. Effective April 1, 2019, CDL-qualified employees hired into driv- ing positions who are not currently on the seniority list at a carrier covered by this Agreement, but who for two (2) or more years reg- ularly performed CDL-required driving work for a common- ly-owned NMFA carrier shall be compensated at 100% of the full contract rate of pay provided they have not had a break in service in excess of three (3) years.

(c) Effective first (1st) day of employment plus two (2) years – ninety five percent (95%) of the current rate (d) Effective first (1st) day of employment plus three (3) years – one hundred percent (100%) of the current rate CDL-qualified employees hired into driving positions who are not currently on the seniority list at an NMFA carrier and who for two (2) or more years regularly performed CDL-required driving work for a commonly-owned NMFA carrier shall be compensated at 90% of the full contract rate of pay for a period of one (1) year and go to the full contractual rate thereafter, provided they have not had a break in service in excess of three (3) years.

  • Wage Progression Employees within their position classification will progress from the “start rate” to the “one year rate” and so on, on the basis of 1,800 hours worked at the “start rate” to the “one year rate” and so on. Hours worked and paid for, including hours paid during the probationary period (450) hours, and hours not worked and paid for by the WSIB shall be considered hours worked for the purposes of computing eligibility to progress to the next higher rate within their position classification.

  • Salary Progression 1. For the purposes of determining annual progression from one step to the next, each teacher’s performance will be assessed annually against the appropriate professional standards. 2. When setting performance expectations and development objective(s) with individual teachers for the coming year, the appropriate professional standards against which the teacher is to be assessed should be confirmed between the teacher and the employer. 3. For each teacher to progress annually to their next salary step they will need to demonstrate that they meet the appropriate professional standards.
