Funeral or Death. A teacher may charge sick leave with no more than five (5) consecutive days for funeral or death in the immediate family as defined above. More days may be granted at the discretion of administration. Up to five (5) days may be provided for funeral or death of any other person whose relationship to the teacher warrants such attention with the approval of the Superintendent or designee.

  • Plural or Feminine Terms May Apply Whenever the singular or masculine is used in this Agreement, it shall be considered as if the plural or feminine has been used where the context of the party or parties hereto so requires.

  • Leave Without Pay for Relocation of Spouse (a) At the request of an employee, leave without pay for a period of up to one (1) year shall be granted to an employee whose spouse is permanently relocated and up to five (5) years to an employee whose spouse is temporarily relocated.

  • Marriage Leave With Pay (a) After the completion of one (l) year's continuous employment, and providing an employee gives NAV CANADA at least fifteen (15) days' notice, the employee shall be granted five (5) days' marriage leave with pay for the purpose of getting married.

  • Personal Leave Without Pay Leave of absence without pay may be granted by the College for legitimate personal reasons.

  • Personal Illness or Disability The bargaining unit member may use all or any portion of his leave to recover from his/her own illness or disability.

  • Court Leave With Pay Leave with pay shall be given to every employee, other than an employee already on leave without pay, on education leave, or under suspension who is required:

  • Personal Leave With Pay With prior notification, full-time employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may use a maximum of six (6) days personal leave with pay per year, provided that such days shall be charged against the employee’s current accrued sick leave. This leave is non-cumulative.

  • PREVAILING WAGE ACT Without limiting the scope of any other provision of this Agreement, Concessionaire agrees to comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, P.L. 1963, Chapter 150as codified in N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et seq. Concessionaire also agrees to comply with 42 U.S.C. § 9604 (g)(1). If any conflict exists between the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Law and § 9604 (g)(1), the Concessionaire must comply with the federal requirements.
