Gender perspective. 1. The Parties agree that cooperation shall help to strengthen policies, programmes and mechanisms that aim to ensure, improve and expand the equal participation of, and opportunities for, men and women in political, economic, social and cultural life, in particular with a view to the effective implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. Where appropriate, affirmative action in support of women shall be taken.

Gender perspective. The MPWT defined a gender mainstreaming strategy to create employment opportunities and make efforts to carry out capacity building for women.   • Gender Words used herein regardless of the number and gender specifically used, shall be deemed and construed to include any other number, singular or plural, and any other gender, masculine, feminine or neuter, as the context requires.

  • Gender Neutral Wherever used herein, a pronoun in the masculine gender shall be considered as including the feminine gender unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

  • GENDER NEUTRALITY 24.01 In this Agreement, any references to the masculine gender shall include the female gender and references to the female gender shall include the masculine gender.

By the use of either the masculine or feminine genders it is understood that said use is for convenience purposes only and is not to be interpreted to be discriminatory by reason of sex.

  • Specialist knowledge and skills Indicative but not exclusive tasks include: the undertaking of semi-skilled work, including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, washing and ironing, shopping, sweeping paths, minor maintenance jobs, preparation and cooking of meals, defrosting refrigerators, emptying and cleaning of commodes, banking and account payment, organising appointments, assistance with care of pets, and care of indoor and outdoor pot plants.

  • GENDER REFERENCE All references in this Agreement to employees of the male gender are used for convenience only and shall be construed to include both male and female employees.
