Government Furnished Information (GFI). GFI is defined as that information essential for the installation, test, operation, and interface support of all Government Furnished Material identified in an attachment in Section J. The Government shall furnish only the GFI identified in an attachment in Section J. The GFI furnished to the contractor need not be in any particular format. Further, the Government reserves the right to revise the listing of GFI as follows: (1) The Contracting Officer may at any time by written order: (i) delete, supersede, or revise, in whole or in part, data identified in an attachment in Section J; or (ii) add items of data or information to the attachment identified in Section J; or (iii) establish or revise due dates for items of data or information in the attachment identified in Section J. (2) If any action taken by the Contracting Officer pursuant to subparagraph (1) immediately above causes an increase or decrease in the costs of, or the time required for, performance of any part of the work under this contract, the contractor may be entitled to an equitable adjustment in the contract amount and delivery schedule in accordance with the procedures provided for in the "CHANGES" clause of this contract.

The Government shall furnish only the GFI identified on the NAVSEA Form 4340/2 or Schedule C, as applicable, attached to the contract. The GFI furnished to the contractor need not be in any particular format. Further, the Government reserves the right to revise the listing of GFI on the NAVSEA Form 4340/2 or Schedule C, as applicable, as follows: (1) The Contracting Officer may at any time by written order: (i) delete, supersede, or revise, in whole or in part, data listed or specifically referenced in NAVSEA Form 4340/2 or Schedule C, as applicable; or (ii) add items of data or information to NAVSEA Form 4340/2 or Schedule C, as applicable; or (iii) establish or revise due dates for items of data or information in NAVSEA Form 4340/2 or Schedule C, as applicable. Government Furnished Information (GFI). The Government will provide access to GFI required for the performance of the contract. The Contractor needs to contact the Government, using the form found at Attachment 4, to acquire the GFI. The contractor agrees that it shall not, without authority, release, disclose, or use in any way GFI that would harm or damage the interests of the Government. Further the contractor shall not permit or result in the unauthorized disclosure or any party outside the government, or use GFI, generated during or as a result of performance of this contract or derived from GFI in any manner beyond what is necessary for the performance of this contract. GFI is not authorized for use by the contractor for the preparation of any proposal for a follow-on or other contract with the Federal Government, or for use in litigation against the Government unless the disclosure is protected by Federal Law for Whistleblowers or a similar statute. This prohibition shall expire after a period of three years after completion of performance of this contract. All contractor employees shall sign a non-disclosure agreement, establishing an enforceable agreement between the Government and the individual contractor employee acknowledging that no person shall release, disclose, or use in any way that would permit or result in disclosure to any party outside the government of any GFI or the proprietary information of any third party, that was furnished to the contractor employee for the performance of this contract or that was gained inadvertently by the employee. Further, the prohibition against release of GFI extends to cover such information whether or not in its original form, e.g., where the information has been included in contractor generated work or where it is discernible from materials incorporating or based upon such information. These prohibitions regarding GFI shall apply with equal force to any affiliate of the contractor, any subcontractor, consultant, or any entity into or with whom the contractor may merge or affiliate, or its successors or assigns and shall not expire after any given period of time. The contractor shall immediately make full disclosure of any violation by the contractor or an employee of the contractor, whether intentional or unintentional, of the above prohibition in writing to the Government’s Information Assurance Officer and the contracting officer. Government Furnished Information (GFI). The Government may provide information (e.g., technical data, applicable documents, software, plans, regulations, specifications, etc.) in support of a specific task, and other work product may be generated by the Contractor in the course of executing the Order, all of which is defined for purposes of the Order as GFI. Such GFI will be specified in individual Orders. The Contractor shall use these GFI only for the performance of work under the Order, and shall be responsible for returning all GFI to the Government at the end of the performance period.

Government Furnished Information (GFI). The Government will provide all GFI called out on Attachment 1 and Attachment 2. Attachment 1 contains the list of built-to-print drawings and Attachment 2 contains the Gerber files for the ALE-47 Breechplate P/N: 3837AS100. GFI will be provided to the contractor within two weeks after contract award. The contractor shall use the GFI during the performance of the contract and shall return or destroy the GFI at the end of the contract.
