HAZMAT PAY‌. Any employee who attains a CSTI Hazardous Materials Specialist certification can become a member of the hazardous materials response team and receive special assignment pay of 2.5% as long as the employee remains a member of the team and maintains their certification. Such payment will commence upon attainment or upon successful completion of the initial 18-month probationary period, whichever is later. Written proof must be submitted to the Human Resources department, through the Fire Chief. An employee who is a member of the Hazardous Material team as of December 15, 2006, and does not possess a CSTI specialist certification shall receive special assignment pay as long as they remain a member of the team and as long as the employee maintains their certification. The number of employees receiving the Hazardous Material incentive pay will be capped at one-third of the authorized and funded positions in this bargaining unit. After the one-third of the employees has been identified, any additional employees who obtain and maintain their CSTI Hazardous Materials Specialist certification will receive 1%.

HAZMAT PAY‌. Employees who are assigned to the HazMat Team will receive an additional 1.5 percent pay for the time actually engaged in HazMat duty. The City must have a contract in effect with the State of Oregon and eligible employees are any employees who have taken the technician training, are certified at that level or higher, and are assigned to the HazMat Team by the City.

  • Reporting Pay Employees who report for any scheduled shift will be guaranteed at least four (4) hours of work, or if no work is available will be paid at least four (4) hours except when work is not available due to conditions beyond the control of the Hospital. The reporting allowance outlined as herein shall not apply whenever an employee has received prior notice not to report for work. Part-time employees scheduled to work less than seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours per day will receive a pro-rated amount of reporting pay.

  • Report Pay An employee who is pre-scheduled to work an overtime shift in a 24-hour facility and reports to duty will be guaranteed three (3) hours overtime pay at the appropriate rate unless the employee is a holdover from a previous shift. The Employer shall notify employees as soon as practical prior to their scheduled start time in the event the employee is not required to report for prescheduled overtime. Department of Transportation employees will continue to receive the greater benefits under callback pay when applicable.

  • ACCIDENT PAY The company shall pay accident pay as defined in the award, during the incapacity of their employee/s arising from any one injury, for a total of fifty-two (52) weeks - irrespective of whether such incapacity is in one continuous period or not.

  • Shift Pay Each full-time employee scheduled to work on any shift commencing after 9:00 a.m. shall be paid a shift premium of seventy- five cents ($0.75) per hour for all hours worked by him/her on that shift and overtime hours worked in continuity with such shift. Shift premiums payable under this provision shall not be included as part of the employee’s regular pay for purposes of computing overtime pay.

  • Certification Pay A nurse who obtains and maintains a nationally recognized nursing certification shall receive a differential of $1.00 per hour for all compensated hours. If initial certification is obtained during the prior calendar year, only those hours that are compensated beginning with the first full payroll period subsequent to certification shall be considered. An approved certification list shall be established by mutual consent between the PNCC and the Chief Nurse Executive or designee and shall be updated on an annual basis.
