Head Custodian Stipend. Head Custodians, who hold the appropriate license for their assignment, as defined by the district, shall receive an additional hourly stipend at the following rates: For buildings from 150,000 to 199,999 square feet $.50 per hour For buildings from 200,000 to 299,999 square feet $.75 per hour For buildings larger than 300,000 square feet $1.00 per hour Head custodians who perform the duties at two locations shall receive and additional stipend $.050 per hour The High school building shall have one (1) Second Shift Lead Custodian who shall receive an additional $1.00 per hour during the time frame that custodians are assigned to work second shift

Head Custodian Stipend. The Board shall pay the High School Head Custodian a total stipend of $1,800 per year and the Head Custodian in the other District school buildings a total stipend of $1,200 per year for the lead duties and direction each provides the other custodians.

If a head custodian is on an extended paid administrative leave or is on an extended leave during which he/she is using accumulated sick leave, the stipend shall not be included in his/her hourly wage rate during such leave. The stipend amount will instead be included in the hourly wage rate of the employee assuming the head custodian duties while the head custodian is on leave.

Head Custodian Stipend. For the 2020-2021 school years, a stipend will be awarded equally to each head custodian at $2,900. After the 2020-2021 school year, the stipend will be awarded commensurate with responsibilities, as determined by the Superintendent, or designee. The stipend will be payable in two payments; August 15 and October 15, based on final assessment and evaluation by the Superintendent, or designee.

The Custodian shall not be under any duty to take any action not specified in this Agreement, unless the depositor shall furnish it with instructions in proper form and such instructions shall have been specifically agreed to by the Custodian, or to defend or engage in any suit with respect hereto unless it shall have first agreed in writing to do so and shall have been fully indemnified to its satisfaction.
