Health/Medical & Other Insurance. The District shall make a monthly contribution for employee and dependent(s) health/medical insurance coverage that has been negotiated with LRSA as part of this contract for the upcoming contract year. The carriers for the LRSA unit as of the 2017-18 fiscal year are: Kaiser Health, Western Health Advantage and Xxxxxx Health plans. Any change in the contribution should be agreed to by the District and LRSA prior to the annual open enrollment period each year for the coverage year starting July 1st.

Health/Medical & Other Insurance. The District shall make a monthly contribution for employee and dependent(s) health/medical insurance coverage up to the lowest premium rate established by any of the District's carriers providing coverage to LRCEA unit members. The carriers for the LRCEA unit as of the 2011-12 fiscal year are: HealthNet, and Kaiser Health plans.

  • MEDICAL AND HOSPITAL INSURANCE 14.1 Current practices will prevail for the duration of this Agreement, except that any changes in medical or hospital insurance plans, including the premium payable by employees, applicable to the majority of those employed in the Public Service for whom the Treasury Board is the employer, will during the life of this Agreement be applicable to the employees under this Agreement.

  • Hospital and Medical Insurance The University shall make available health insurance to the employees covered by this agreement to the same extent and in the same manner as is available to other University employees, such as Faculty and the Executive, Administrative and Professional Staff employees.   • Health and Hospitalization Insurance Single Coverage: The School District shall contribute a sum not to exceed $284.00 per month toward the premium for individual coverage for each full-time employee employed by the School District who qualifies for and is enrolled in single coverage in the School District’s group health and hospitalization insurance plan. Any additional cost of the premium shall be borne by the employee and paid by payroll deduction.

  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance a. Effective July 1, 2002, medical benefits shall be offered through CalPERS Health Plans.

  • Medical There shall be an open enrollment period for medical coverage in each year of this Agreement. An employee may elect no medical coverage during any open enrollment period. An employee who has elected no medical coverage may elect medical coverage during an open enrollment period. No pre-existing condition limitations will apply.

  • I nsurance During the License Term, Licensee shall, at its own cost and expense, procure and continue in force such insurance policies as are required by Licensor. Such insurance shall, at a minimum include commercial general liability insurance with a combined policy limit of at least $1,000,000 or such other amount as is reasonably agreed to by the parties. Licensor shall be named as an additional named insured on all such policies of insurance. A renewal policy shall be procured not less than ten (10) days prior to the expiration of any policy. Each original policy or a certified copy thereof, or a satisfactory certificate of the insurer evidencing insurance carried with proof of payment of the premium, shall be deposited with Licensor prior to the commencement date of the term hereof and within ten (10) days of the each anniversary date thereafter. If possible and financially feasible, Licensee shall endeavor to have the foregoing insurance policy provide coverage for issues related to COVID-19, novel coronavirus, or similar issues. Licensee shall provide workers’ compensation and employer liability coverage as may be required by the State of Nebraska.

  • Medical Exams 18.1: The Sheriff's Department may require a physical and/or psychological exam by a doctor, at the Employer's expense, to determine the employee's ability to perform his/her regular duties, if deemed appropriate. The employee may obtain a second opinion, at the employee's expense, and in the event there is a dispute between the Employer's doctor and the employee's doctor, both of these doctors shall select a third doctor, whose decision shall be final and binding on the parties. The expense for the third doctor's opinion shall be split 50-50 by the Employer and the employee if not covered by the employee's insurance.

  • Health Overcoming or managing one’s disease(s) as well as living in a physically and emotionally healthy way;

  • Health Care Insurance While a faculty member is on an approved leave of this type, the faculty member will be advised regarding the right to continue health care benefits in accordance with COBRA during the period of unpaid absence.

  • Group Insurance 38.01 The Group Insurance Plan presently in effect shall remain in effect during the term of this Agreement.
