Common use of Hearing Examinations Clause in Contracts

Hearing Examinations. ‌ Hearing examinations required pursuant to the WorkSafeBC Occupational Health and Safety Regulations shall be conducted during working hours without loss of pay. Where an employee is required to be examined on other than their regularly-scheduled workday, they shall receive time off equivalent to the duration of the examination plus travel time upon proceeding directly to and from the examination. Such equivalent time off shall be banked and taken at straight-time rates at a mutually agreeable time.
