Common use of Holiday Closure Clause in Contracts

Holiday Closure. The City Manager or designee may determine that all non-essential City operations close for a Holiday Closure during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Department Directors or designees will determine which services will remain open. In the event of a holiday closure and with approval of the Department Director or designee, employees may take time off during the closure period, but taking time off shall not be a requirement.
