Common use of Holiday During Leave Clause in Contracts

Holiday During Leave. A nurse shall receive holiday pay if the holiday 3 falls during any authorized period of County leave with pay. Should a nurse be on 4 authorized sick or PTO leave with pay when a holiday occurs, the nurse shall receive 5 holiday pay, and such holiday shall not be charged against his/her sick or PTO 6 accruals. Payments received from non-County sources, including but not limited to 8 holiday pay pursuant to Section 3 of this Article.
