Holiday During Leave. Should an employee be on authorized sick leave or vacation when a holiday occurs, the holiday shall not be charged against such leave or vacation. Employees drawing workers' compensation benefits shall receive a supplement from the County for the holiday in an amount equal to the difference between twenty (20) percent of the employee's normal weekly pay and that received for one (1) day in workers' compensation benefits. Such supplement shall not be charged against an employee's accrued sick leave or vacation leave. Such holiday pay supplement shall be in effect for the first six (6) consecutive months of an employee on workers’ compensation leave.
