Common use of Holidays for Days Off Clause in Contracts

Holidays for Days Off. When any of the above noted holidays fall on an employee's scheduled day off, in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, the employee shall receive another day off with pay. Upon request and with the Employer’s approval the employee may receive a day’s pay in substitute.
