Holidays on Regular School Days. Should the schools be required to be in session on any statutory holiday, employees required to work on such a holiday will be given another day off with pay in lieu of the statutory holiday. The alternate day off shall be taken at a mutually acceptable time within a twelve (12) month period.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.

  • Holidays During Vacation If a paid holiday falls or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be granted an additional day's vacation with pay for each holiday in addition to his/her regular vacation time.
