Common use of HOSPITAL MEDICAL PLAN Clause in Contracts

HOSPITAL MEDICAL PLAN. The Extended Health Benefit Plan is integrated with the Medical Services Plan of British Columbia. Employees are required to complete the necessary enrolment forms within thirty- one (31) days of first becoming eligible. Failure to apply within the thirty-one (31) days may cause a penalty of two (2) months additional waiting period for coverage in accordance with the provincial rules for eligibility. Please note that transfers from other Medical Services Plan coverage within thirty (30) days of cancellation is excluded from the employment penalty clause.
