Scheduled Day Off is defined as a day off during the upcoming twenty- eight (28) day period approved by the Sergeant’s immediate supervisor. Prior to the beginning of the upcoming twenty-eight (28) day work period, Sergeants may identify eight (8) scheduled days off for said twenty-eight
Scheduled Day Off means a day of the week where a rostered employee is not rostered to work.
Scheduled Day Off is defined as a day off during the upcoming twenty-eight (28) day period approved by the Sergeant’s immediate supervisor. Prior to the beginning of the upcoming twenty-eight (28) day work period, Sergeants may identify eight (8) scheduled days off for said twenty-eight (28) day work period, normally two (2) days off per week. For the twenty-eight (28) day period, four (4) of the scheduled days off will be weekend days. The Sergeant’s immediate supervisor may approve requests for additional weekend days. The Sergeant’s immediate supervisor may deny the requests for scheduled days off in accordance with Subsection 7.4 A of this Article; however, the specific or personal needs of the Sergeants will be taken into consideration. When mutually agreed, changes to scheduled days off may be approved. Work schedules may be changed on a temporary, permanent, emergency or employee-requested basis in accordance with Subsections 7.3 C through F, above.
