Hours and Shift Premium. 1. The first shift is any shift that regularly starts on or after 4:00 a.m. but before noon. The second shift is any shift that regularly starts on or after noon but before 6:00 p.m. The third shift is any shift that regularly starts on or after 6:00 p.m. but before 4:00 a.m. 2. Employees working on the second and third shift shall receive, in addition to their regular pay for the pay period, an additional twenty cents (20¢) per hour and thirty cents (30¢) per hour respectively. The third shift premium will be paid to employees who work a swing shift.
