Hours Guaranteed While Actively on Payroll. If an employee is placed on the weekly posted schedule, such employee will be guaranteed to receive 40 hours of work during that week. Should an employee be called in to cover absences - such as described in section 4b - to work who was not on the posted schedule, such employee shall be considered unscheduled and will not qualify for the Guaranteed Work Plan. Employees working under the Continuous Operations schedule shall be guaranteed their default scheduled hours as described in Schedule E.

Hours Guaranteed While Actively on Payroll. The Company guarantees eligible employees, while they are actively on the payroll, 150 hours of work in each month, for which they will be paid their full hourly rate or base rate. This is approximately eighty-five percent of the present base time of forty hours per week.
