HOURS OF WORK AND SHIFT WORK. 9.1 Employees shall be entitled to two (2) fifteen (15) minute work breaks per shift, one before the meal break, and one after the meal break, at times designated by management. 9.2 Employees shall be paid fifteen (15) percent above the applicable rate for all hours worked on alternate shifts. 9.3 Except in cases of extreme emergency employees shall be entitled to an eight (8) hour break between shifts or between the conclusion of required overtime prior to the commencement of the employee’s next regular shift. Where the eight hour break coincides in whole or in part with the employee’s next regular shift, the employee shall be paid for the entire shift providing the employee works the remaining hours on their regular shift following the eight (8) hour break.
