Regular Hours and Meal Periods. (a) For employees working eight (8) hour shifts, the regular daily hours of work in each shift shall be seven and one-half (7.5) excluding a meal period. The regular weekly hours of work shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37.5) averaged over a four (4) week period. The designated meal period shall not be less than thirty (30) minutes each shift and shall be scheduled as close as possible to the middle of the shift.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as closely as possible to the middle of the workday. The length of the meal period shall be not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than sixty (60) minutes.

  • Regular Hours The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except that they may be interrupted by a lunch period.

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.

  • Rest and Meal Periods (a) There shall be a 15 minute rest period in each half of any full shift. Employees working less than a full shift, but a minimum of four hours, will receive one 15 minute paid rest period.

  • Payroll Periods 37.01 Pay periods shall be bi-weekly. Pay days shall be every second Thursday.
