Hutt Valley DHB. Retiring Gratuity entitlements are applicable as per the scale for employees who have not less than 10 years’ service as at 12 October 1992 and who are eligible to retire.
Hutt Valley DHB. Where the absence is due to sickness the following provisions, will apply.

MidCentral District Health Board also supports performance management as being an inherent component of ensuring that all employees receive fair and proper treatment in their employment. MidCentral District Health Board's performance management process provides for the development of an Education and Development Plan to ensure each employee’s identified learning and development needs will be met. Within this framework processes used to meet identified needs should be fair and consistent for all employees.
Hutt Valley DHB. In accordance with the Health and Safety in Employment Act, the employer will also provide employees with appropriate protective clothing and/or footwear.
Hutt Valley DHB. The employer shall continue to meet employer contributions to subsidised superannuation scheme(s) for any employee who is a contributor to a superannuation scheme subsidised by Hutt Valley DHB as 4th August 1999. Duties of Employees: Duties of employees shall include any work which may be required of them in connection with the employer's business and for which employees have the requisite skills, training and experience or where employees can acquire same within a reasonable period. Maximum Consecutive Days: An employee shall not be required to be on duty for more than 7 consecutive days unless otherwise mutually agreed and will be entitled to 2 periods of 24 hours off duty each week unless otherwise mutually agreed. Maximum Consecutive Days: Where practicable, ordinary days of work shall be worked on not more than 5 successive days each week except that in no circumstances are employees to work on more than 7 successive days at any one time.
