MidCentral District Health Board's performance management process provides for the development of an Education and Development Plan to ensure each employee’s identified learning and development needs will be met. Within this framework processes used to meet identified needs should be fair and consistent for all employees.

Maximum Consecutive Days: An employee shall not be required to be on duty for more than 7 consecutive days unless otherwise mutually agreed and will be entitled to 2 periods of 24 hours off duty each week unless otherwise mutually agreed. Maximum Consecutive Days: Where practicable, ordinary days of work shall be worked on not more than 5 successive days each week except that in no circumstances are employees to work on more than 7 successive days at any one time.
